During an Aussie summer, we rely on a few important things- sunscreen, a hat, an esky to keep our beverage of choice chilled while out and about and at home, our air conditioning unit.
An air conditioner can certainly make life more enjoyable when temperatures fluctuate… but do you know how to make your dream home into the ultimate comfort zone? My Homes WA would like to introduce the new premium air conditioning management system- MyAir.
My Homes WA is working closely with Stinson Air, who is a proud provider of MyAir technology. MyAir system has 10 zones and individual room air flow control that are managed from your very own Home Hub Smart touchscreen tablet. When connected to the Internet, it lets you check the weather, the family calendar, email, play music and order groceries.
The touchscreen is permanently fixed to your wall, so it never needs recharging and it never goes missing in action! As everything from ordering school lunches to paying bills migrates online, having a dedicated tablet for the home makes everyday life a little more comfortable.
MyAir’s colour touchscreen is designed to be a complete home hub. The air-conditioning home screen displays the essentials: whether the system is on or off, set to heating or cooling, the set temperature and fan speed. However, with a touch of the Android icon, it switches to your other apps where you can check your email, play music, do the grocery shop, Google recipes, even check your Facebook while you cook.
Mobile applications technology is evolving day by day. Now, you can control your air conditioning system from the comfort of your bed or couch through the MyAir app. It allows most smartphones or tablets to become a wireless remote control with ability to control up to 4 air-conditioning units that can be varied brands and located in independent buildings like a granny flat or studio.
Not only can MyAir control up to 4 units from the one touchscreen, the units on the MyAir system can also be scheduled to start and stop by entering a “Plan” on the Plans screen. Any plan will apply to all units on the relevant MyAir system, i.e. turn them all on/off at the designated time. There are 10 plans available to set, and each plan can be run once per day, on any day of the week. For situations where you only want one or some of the units to turn on or off, you can use the timer function for each unit to achieve this. Setting a timer is a once-off event and doesn’t automatically repeat.
As power costs rise, many of us are looking for easy ways to use less energy at home. With MyAir technology, you can keep your energy bills more comfortable with the motion sensor option. It allows to automatically reduce the airflow to empty rooms. When you walk back in, airflow returns to your chosen setting.
MyAir management system components are locally designed and made to withstand harsh Australian conditions. You have the comfort of a 10-year warranty on ducting and mechanical components, and 5 years on electronics.
My Homes WA is committed to provide latest technology solutions to our clients to ensure comfort and convenience for most enjoyable lifestyle.
